Internship Program

We know our associates are our best asset. Our internship program actively recruits dedicated students passionate about electrical construction and in pursuit of both a challenging and rewarding career. Our interns will gain knowledge and hands-on experience during the internship program. Students will actively work and learn from a team of experienced project managers, estimators and BIM specialists. By interning with Adams Electric, interns will gain invaluable experience that can be leveraged towards a career at Adams Electric.

Adams Electric’s Internship Program is looking for strong candidates to assist the following teams:

1. Preconstruction

2. Project Management

3. Virtual Design Construction / Building Information Modeling

Duration of Internship & Expected Work Hours:

10 Weeks

Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm

Location:  Charlotte / Greensboro

Prerequisites:  College Junior / Senior preferred

Emphasis in analytical thinking and design
Strong computer skills – Microsoft Office Products such as Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Project
Knowledge of Blue Beam and other Virtual Design software (including Revit and Navisworks)  would be helpful
Coursework and/or experience in construction management, engineering as a top consideration

This is a paid internship – compensation is discussed during interview.
